This little baby is Sambou. He is five months old and actually, he is from a village near us.  There is an epidemic of scabies in Haiti among children, and Sambou got a bad case of it! Sambou’s uncle, Wickenson, loves his little nephew and brought him to our Jesus Healing Center.

This case of scabies is very bad. Sambou cannot sleep day or night for scratching and started to make sores. (Often, when children have scabies in Haiti, they scratch, and if their fingernails are dirty, it brings infection.) His uncle told us that the scabies was so bad that the baby does not sleep “day or night.” He said that Sambou was starting “not to eat” because he was miserable. The baby’s mother had taken the baby to another clinic, but they could not afford to buy the medicine (in most clinics, they give exams but do not furnish the medicines or labs).  

The baby’s mother didn’t know what to do. Our doctor examined her, and she received medicines, and our Pastor prayed for her. All is well! God bless you and the baby’s mother thanks, our partners!
