A few weeks ago, one of our girls here at our Children’s Home got married! (We just now received these pictures).
This is beautiful Julia. Her father came to us when her mother died, and he could not care for her and her siblings. She is the sister of Florence (whom some of you know), Dana (Yolande), who is a kindergarten teacher at our school, and she is the sister of Franceau, who is now attending Balan University studying Theology. These four are the second set of four children that started our original orphanage with us at Bois Moquette, Haiti.
Julia is now married. She works here at our Love A Child Birthing Center in the lab…she is a lab technician and a very good one.
Her “sisters” from our Children’s Home were all “decked out” for the wedding. Sadly, our Haitian Director would not let Bobby and I attend due to the dangers of coming back late at night, gangs, and kidnapping. Our girls had to stay at our Haitian office in Petionville that night due to the dangers. The streets of Haiti are not safe anymore in Port au Prince.
We all love Julia and are so proud of her and her husband, and we wish her all the best in the world!!!
We love you, Julia!
