In our Love A Child Birthing Center, we consider all pregnant women and all newborns as a “divine gift” from God. Here in Haiti, violence is everywhere, and it is very difficult for a pregnant woman to get to a Maternity Clinic due to gangs. Our Birthing Center is open 24/7, giving the best care in Haiti. We also want the mothers to come back with their babies for check-ups and vaccines.

Yesterday, two more ladies came—Madamn Molene Dor, age 23, from the village of Balan, and Madamn Cassandra Rorne came from the village of Ganthier. The lady on the left, Madamn Cassandra, told us that her husband abandoned her. She had a difficult delivery, but we have the very best midwives and doctors! Both ladies are very poor; one lives in a “mud and straw” hut. But their babies mean everything! The babies received vaccines free of charge.

The Birthing Center is “a gift from God.” Thank you, dear partners, for keeping us in your prayers daily here in Haiti.
