This afternoon, a distraught mother came running with her son to our Jesus Healing Center clinic here in Fond Parisien, Haiti. His brother was chasing him and backed him up into the fire, where a pot of water was boiling. The pot fell over and scalded this little boy. He was in excruciating pain, but our doctors and nurses worked for a long time, cleaning the wound and bandaging it. He finally fell asleep with something for the pain.

Burns are frequent in Haiti…children often fall into a charcoal fire. But children in the mountains don’t have much hope because there are no clinics or hospitals there. We are so very thankful to Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope for sponsoring the monthly operating costs of our Jesus Healing Center, which gives “first-class care” to the poorest of the poor!
