Betina was born after the 2010 earthquake in Cite Soleil, Haiti. She had been born in Cite Soleil, one of the most dangerous areas of the country. Betina had come from a large family, and there wasn’t much food. So, her parents abandoned her!

Some social workers brought her to us… Today, she is 12, in the fifth grade, and loves “dolls, dolls, and more dolls!” She loves singing, dancing, and “she loves cleaning her room!”

When she smiles, all you see are teeth!! Ha!

Betina wants to be a nurse!
