More than ten years ago, a lady came all the way from Cap-Haïtien with three young children. She was their aunt and she had brought with her “two nieces and her nephew.” She told me the story about the parents of these children and how their parents died when their flimsy little boat capsized. They drowned and now their aunt was struggling to raise them. She asked if we could take them in and we did.
All three are now young adults. Bianca has always been very intelligent and always “reading!” She has a beautiful voice but is too shy to sing. She is in college in Haiti studying psychiatry! She wants to help people with “mental illnesses.” Bianca is sweet, loving, and kind. We pray that God keeps his “hand” upon this young lady so that she can reach her dream. We all love Bianca.
