Although the streets here in Haiti are still dangerous, we can manage to “sneak away,” carefully with food items or clothing to villages nearby. We received “blankets and Bibles” from Lutheran Mission Attic Workshop. You cannot believe how these moms and dads hovered over these wonderful gifts. When we said “blankets for babies,” everyone went scurrying to find a baby quick, Ha! And, of course, a Bible is like gold for any Haitian! If they are sick, they will lay their Bible on their sickness and believe God! They will even sleep with their Bible under their pillow!!
