We have spent several days packing medicines that we received from MAP International, as well as some medicines we purchased. These medicines are great, everything from antibiotics to cough and cold medicines. Jessica Lackey, a new missionary with Love A Child, has been helping me, along with three Haitian lady workers, Madamn Denise, Madamn Roselene, and Madamn Jessica! Normally, we would have a Mobile Medical Clinic team come in from the United States, but it is too dangerous for them right now. We will be using some medical personnel from our Jesus Healing Center and some of our older Love A Child girls who want to go into the medical field. We will be going to Old Letant! Even though this village is not far from us, they will not take the initiative to bring a burned child or any other serious injuries to our clinic. We have to take the “clinic” to them! Lord willing, we will start tomorrow. (I will surely miss Kaeli, who was with us for four years, but is now preparing to attend college in Texas!) But the need is great, and we will do everything we can to help these poor people. Thank you, MAP International, for making this possible. Sherry
