One day I was with Bobby and Sherry in the old village of Letant where we were conducting a Mobile Medical Clinic. There were hundreds of Haitians waiting in line, and it was unbearably hot, but the clinic was set up and going well. You never know what you are going to see on one of these trips, as the medical cases in Haiti look very different from what we are used to seeing in America. You may remember Fedna. When she first came to one of the clinics, her belly was terribly swollen because of worms, and she was severely malnourished. It was years ago when Fedna was placed in the Child Sponsorship program, and a loving sponsor changed her life. Today, Fedna goes to a Christian school, she receives a hot, nourishing meal and she is healthy. Look at what the Child Sponsorship program does for poor Haitian children. It provides HOPE!
