This is Colin. He was first brought to us because his father, an evil man, had gotten angry with him because Colin had eaten a handful of rice. Colin lives with his stepmother and nine other children. She had fixed a pot of rice for all the children. Colin was still hungry so he stuck his little hand in the kettle for more food. His father grabbed him and said, “You are a thief and I will teach you a lesson!” He held Colin’s hand down in the hot charcoals until the skin fell off. We have been taking care of him.
