“George, how old did you say you were when you started driving our backhoe and front-end loader?”
“12??”
George was just a baby when we brought him to our Love A Child Orphanage. His mother was frail and in bad health and could not care for another baby. George was born during “Hurricane Georges,” about 22 years ago. He has been to the Caterpillar school to learn how to operate heavy equipment and has a diploma but has been driving for a long time.
Today, he was digging a big trench to lay electricity from the Birthing Center to the Malnutrition Center. The ground in this area has a lot of huge rocks. The Malnutrition Center dedication is Friday the 15th! It is a beautiful “warm, child-friendly” Malnutrition Center. We wish to thank Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope for sponsoring the building and their gift to purchase the equipment and supplies needed to open!
Thanks to all our partners for their prayers and support.

P.S. I asked George what happened to his hair. He is bald except for a few pigtails in the back, so he just braided it!! He laughed!! We all love George! He’s always into “something,” and always so sweet!!
