Today, we are traveling back to Fond Parisien, after our trip to Petit Desdunes in the L’Artibonite area of Haiti.

This area is in a drought. Look at the picture of the green rice fields. This is what the entire area should look like. Now, look at the rice fields in the area of Petit Desdunes! What a difference.

There has been virtually no rainfall in this area and as a result, the rice fields are dead, the animals are dying, and the children and people here are in critical condition for water and food. If you have not seen our post from yesterday, go back and read it.

We are working on a way to get water to them, but at the same time, we continue to feed them every day (except Sunday). This has been quite a job, as we are feeding thousands each day in this one area alone! Let’s not turn away from the “cry of the poor.” Bobby and Sherry
