This young sweetie is one of our children, whom we are so proud of. Many years ago, when she was very young, she lived up in the mountains with her parents. Apparently, her mother had boiled hot, scalding water to put into the large round metal bowl that Haitians use for bathing. She was very, very young at that time and she must have tried to sit on the rim but fell backwards into the “very hot” water! It scalded her neck on down to about her waist. She was taken to a “burn center” in Haiti, and later, she had to go to another “burn center” because her skin was so tight. From there on she spent many days at hospitals!

She graduated from an “English speaking” high school. We found a good college in Jamaica, where we have Christian friends. She has been there now for about three years. She continues her studies and loves “church work!” Dumolia makes friends easily… everyone loves her! She is still giving much prayer to where the Lord wants her on her life’s journey. She loves people, loves the Lord, and loves just about anyone she meets! God has a great plan for her life. Sherry
