When we first found Ericka, she had severe malnutrition and this caused her to be “developmentally delayed,” mentally handicapped, and in addition she was full of sores. It was very difficult for her in school because Haiti has no path for these children. She struggled so hard. We do not know how far she can go in school because it is so difficult… but she tries so hard! She is also good with the smaller children and one of our sweetest! We all love Ericka!!!
