This morning, all the children worked very hard getting ready for the food distribution to the missionaries!! We always like to thank our children here at the Love A Child Children’s Home for all the hard work they do. The big boys and the little ones, help in the food distribution. They can do everything from loading food boxes in the trucks, to picking up the discarded trash from the pallets.

The young teen girls always help serve food. In fact, some of our older boys, like Carlos, actually make the fried “pates” that we serve the missionaries… others bring in cold drinks, etc. We have a lot of other help, of course, but we always tell our kids to “work hard!”

Today is Saturday, so they got to sleep in until 5:30 a.m. Sunday, they will be going to church and helping the cooks in the kitchen, and helping out with the smaller children… but when Monday rolls around, the alarm will go off at 4:30 a.m. and everyone will be up, praying, working, and getting ready for school!! One of the older girls will “turn up the praise music,” and we will get ready for another day!

We really wish each one of you could come and visit here us here in Haiti, but until then, thank you for your love, prayers, and support!!
