“You Cannot Eat Okra with Just One Finger.”
There is no greater joy or blessing than feeding hungry children. We have been to so many villages and the children are desperate. The best way to feed them is in a calm setting that they are used to, because they have a fear, that they will not get food. We share our food with Juanito Genada, who does wonderful work feeding children, also.
We realize that we cannot feed “all the hungry children in Haiti,” by ourselves! But when we partner together, hand in hand, we can get more done. The Haitians have a saying, “you cannot eat okra with one finger!” It means, we need each other.
God bless this wonderful work and God bless all our partners who make it possible to continue feeding Haiti’s hungry children! We love you all very, very much, and deeply appreciate your sacrifice!
