When we first came to Sapaterre, we found many, many mothers and children making “mud cookies” to sell and to eat. We created jobs for five mothers, and it has been a blessing to see them sell clothing, shoes and other items, rather than mud cookies. We send food to them on a regular basis now. “We cannot do everything, but together, we can do something!” They were also given new jackets and tee shirts, from World Vision. Thank you, Feed My Starving Children for the food and thank you, partners, for sponsoring food and clothing to come from the states to Haiti, all the way to Sapaterre, and most of all, “thank you, God, for being so good to us!” Blessings!
