We just received a phone call from Nelio Barthelemy, our Haitian Director of Love A Child. (He grew up in the poor village of “Bethel,” a nickname for L’Estère.) Hunger is so widespread in this village. Nelio always wants to make sure that they get food. This is the largest area that we cook food… 13 “chodias” (huge cooking pots) full of food! The people and children are so happy! We are sorry that we don’t have any pictures, but we are just happy to hear this!! “Blessed is he that considereth the poor!” Psalm 41:1
