Each month, we must bring in eight “40-foot containers” of food to feed the children and families we help here in Haiti. Our friends at Feed My Starving Children donate this delicious food. It costs us a minimum of $10,000 per container to truck the food from Minnesota to Miami. Then it is shipped to Haiti, where it has all the Customs charges, dock, “get-move” fees, etc. But it is well worth it because this food container is valued at $65,000 per container. Due to the fact that Haiti has had a lot of “political problems,” containers have been held up in Customs for weeks. It is a lot of pressure to get these containers out and find the funds to ship it to us, especially at this time of year. Thank you for your prayers and support.
