We “love” feeding the hungry! It takes a lot of work, a lot of organization, and a lot of prayers to feed crowds of hungry families here in Haiti. We are preparing this food to give out next week and the weeks to come.

Pictured are some of our workers. Some of them have other work to do, but they jumped in to help bag “tipanou” (the Feed My Starving Children rice) and black beans. All Haitians love “tipanou,” which is a nickname for the FMSC rice!

The lady in the black dress with the beans is Madamn Pierre. She and her family lived in the Truttier Garbage Dump. We began giving food to her family until some of our partners sponsored “two houses” for her and her extended family of 17 people in Miracle Village. She as well as her other family members also have jobs here at Love A Child! And we have noticed that Madamn Pierre has gained a lot of weight since coming here! Ha!

We will start distributing food in nine areas first, and then to others further away. Jesus said, “I was hungry, and you fed me! (Matthew 25:35)
