We have been working very hard, preparing for our upcoming Mobile Medical Clinic. We’ve had to change “our plans” three times, due to the roads that were washed out in Peyi Pouri, then Lastik, and La Roche. It will take a while for the workers to rebuild the rocky, muddy road through the gully. So, we then believed that the Lord wanted us to go someplace else, and here it is…Chambrun. This is a huge Voodoo village filled with poor people. We have already met with the leader, who is also the main “houngan” (witch doctor), and also a political leader. We will have the opportunity of helping these people, praying for them, giving them Gospel tracts, Creole Bibles and also “Proclaimers.” (Cassette players in Creole with the entire Bible on them!) This will be a “tough village,” and we will fight a lot of spiritual battles, but we are on the winning side! Sherry
