Haiti’s Future… A Great Investment!

Above, you will see some of our Haitian daughters from our Children’s Home who have chosen to work in the medical field. They all say they have chosen this so that they can help their own people by caring for the sick and “touching someone’s life.”

Here, we have Roselyne, who was a young lady from the mountains with “crooked legs.” She is doing fine now and is studying to be a doctor here in Haiti. This is her first year. Next, you see Jovanie. She graduated from nursing college here in Haiti but is going on in college to become a midwife. Next is little Fabienne, who is in university here in Haiti, studying to be a dental hygienist. The one in the COVID-19 protective uniform is Julanne. She is a nurse, graduated here in Haiti and loves working in the E.R.!

Florence is in college in Italy with a partial scholarship, studying radiology, and then her plans are to go into physical therapy. This “mantle” for physical therapy fell on her after the earthquake, when she volunteered in our field hospital. Then we have Dimelia, who suffered very severe burns as a child and was sent back and forth for many years to a burn center. She will also be going to study medicine in Italy, and hopefully become a doctor. (Not pictured is Julia, who is one of our first eight children in our orphanage. She is now a lab tech and works in our Birthing Center!)

We just wanted to thank those of you who have sponsored these children and those of you who have given to our College Fund! You are looking at “Haiti’s Future!!” To donate to our College Fund and help more of our children attend college, please call Rad at our Love A Child office at 239-210-6107. Thank you and may God richly bless you!
