This is the story of a poor little girl who had suffered for over a year.

We had 170 patients who came to the Jesus Healing Center Clinic (JHC) for help [yesterday]. Some also needed tests from our lab at the JHC. We are so busy because we see over 100 patients each day and each one is a different case. People come from all over because they know our doctors are loving and caring and they get the best of care.

During the day, when it was extremely busy, a little girl eight-year-old girl was brought to the clinic. Her name was Eviodie Pierre Cetoute. When we saw her, we immediately knew she had an extremely difficult case. We could smell the “rotten, infected flesh” of her scalp! She had a horrible infection, called “Tinea Capitis,” which is a fungal infection with capillary symptoms.

Our doctor took her straight to Wound Care. The nurses had to carefully remove all the sores with a razor blade. It was an extremely painful process but we knew she would never heal until all her hair was gone. But, when it was finished, we were able to apply the medicines and give her mom all the things she would need to take care of her.

Living in an area where there is no clean water, brings on heavy infections, and in a place where there is no doctor, clinic, or pharmacy, what do parents do? They feel helpless. Our staff is patient, loving, and kind. They are the most compassionate medical people we have ever seen! Eviodie Pierre will now heal from this horrible infection. Her mother could never, never have afforded such good care with all the medicines!
