Hope for Kervencia’s Mother

Little seven-month-old Kervencia was just recently brought to us by her mother, Madamn Estilia. There are six children in the family, and they live in a village called Boisdenie. Madamn Estilia struggled to feed a family of six children but due to the conditions in the country right now, with the gangs in the streets, and burning tires, etc., she has found it difficult to try and sell. She finally agreed to take her baby to our Malnutrition Center. Little Kervencia had a weight of 4.7 kg and a height of 63 cm. She was in the lower phase four. In just one month, Kervencia now has a weight of 6.4 kg. Our Haitian nurse said that her “ecotypic loaded to less than -1.”

She is growing and developing, and her body is not dry anymore. Her mother is very thankful for this help. Soon, she will be going to our “outpatient” care, where her mother will take special foods home and a big box of Feed My Starving Children food so that the rest of her children can eat! What a wonderful gift for this poor mother! Now, Madamn Estilia has “hope!”

God bless you, Partners, and God bless our friends at Feed My Starving Children!
