A little girl holds her baby brother in her arms. His mouth is covered with something…what? He has been eating dirt, not playing in the dirt but actually filling his stomach with it. His sister has red hair from malnutrition and he is addicted to eating dirt because he is hungry. Hunger is a fast growing “disease” among children here in Haiti. This is why God has called us.
