Today is Saturday and relatively quiet! Little Kenzy has his new “shades on,” and all the kids here are scrubbing the floors and cleaning.

Bobby went to the ATC student graduation! These students are exceptional and will make a life change in their community! Bobby will send pictures later!

Today is Julia’s wedding. She was one of the first eight children we took in. She is a lab tech at our Birthing Center. Due to the danger of gangs and lack of police security on the streets with “big guns,” Bobby and I could not go. We have a lot of responsibility on our shoulders for the Love A Child Children’s Home and all the projects. So, our Haitian director told us to stay behind and let the older girls go. They all have to spend the night tonight in Petionville at our office because it is too dangerous for them to travel at night to come back here. There will be a lot of roadblocks in the street, a perfect time for the gangs to rob and kill. We want our children and employees to be safe! It’s “kinda quiet” here at Love A Child and I am enjoying it so much!! This is “rare!”
