This precious young boy is Jacque. His mother died when he was very young, and his father wasn’t able to care for him. His father would leave Jacque and his sister Fabiola alone for days at a time while he looked for work. The two children were far too young to be left alone. Finally, their father gave the children to the Haitian Department of Social Services because he could not take care of them any longer. A representative from the department called Love A Child and asked if we would take in the two young children. Jacque and his sister came to the Love A Child Children’s Home several years ago, and he loves his new big family. When Jacque is in school, he is quick to learn his school lessons. He is such a sweet and happy boy, and we all love him very much!
