Jean Gardy was brought to us at a very young age when his mother died. (In Haiti, when a child’s mother dies the government automatically considers him an “orphan.”) He was brought to our old orphanage.

He was born to be an “accountant!” He has passed three years in University but had to drop out last year, along with 20 other Love A Child kids, due to the gangs. He began working in our Love A Child Accounting Office. In the fall, he and the rest of the older children will try to return to their college. He was born with a “business head” on his shoulders. He taught all his “brothers and sisters” how to save money. He is small for his age, quiet, sweet, and honest! We pray that he and the other children can safely return to their colleges this fall.
