Job… Growing Like a Coconut Tree!

One day, a poor mountain Pastor made the long rocky trip by foot, down from the mountains of Covant, to our Love A Child Orphanage. As many stories in Haiti, the baby’s mother died in childbirth and the father had no means of feeding the child.

He was first taken to another orphanage that had no room and then, they found Love A Child. Job is now in 9th grade at school and an excellent student! He works cleaning the yard, and his room, watering the plants, and doing anything that is asked of him. He loves soccer, basketball, and playing his bass guitar in our nighttime church services!! He is obedient and respectful and will always do his best… and, he is “shy!”

We asked Job what he wanted to be and said, “Maybe a doctor… maybe an engineer!!!” He has many years to make up his mind. We call him our “zero-stress” kid!! And, we love him!!
