Jolina was born in the mountains of Savaan Roche, Haiti. Her father was a poor man, who never had enough money to feed his family… and he was murdered. Since there were nine kids in the family, and the fact that her father was killed, her mother had a nervous breakdown.

Some relatives brought her and her cousin Daphline to Love A Child. Jolina survived and grew, and she became a “tough little girl” playing sports!!! However, she “loves the kitchen!” She also loves to cook, clean, and play basketball! She also gives the boys a tough time in soccer!

She is now praying about what God would have her do in her future! She makes good grades! She’s 15 and changes her mind all the time about what she wants to be. Today, she wants to be a policewoman here in Haiti! That would be a dangerous job right now!!!
