It’s hard to believe that children in Haiti still live like this, but it’s true that they do. And now due to all of the political turmoil and stress, the schools are closed which means that “school feeding programs are closed, too.” All missionaries are struggling to feed their orphanages and their schools. And all of us have learned to live “one day at a time,” because we never know what will happen “today.”
By faith, our food container will arrive safely from the Dominican Republic, and we will be able to send food to the worst and most destitute places. And by faith, we may be able to get more of our food containers out of Haitian Customs with the Feed My Starving Children manna packs inside. If we do, we can share our food with all of the missionaries who help to feed children here in Haiti. “Political problems” seem to be even worse than “natural disasters,” but “prayer is the key!” Bobby and Sherry
P.S. For the next three days, the U.S. Embassy has put out a warning concerning protests, riots, and roadblocks. Haiti will be on lockdown with likely nothing to be open. Customs will be closed. Everyone is suffering. Please pray.
