Update here in Haiti:

The coronavirus is now in Haiti. No doubt it will spread like wildfire because all the Haitians live so close together. The Haitian government requests no gatherings of ten people or more, but there are usually that many or more that live in one Haitian dwelling! The whole family… grandparents, cousins, uncles…

Haiti’s President Jovenel has closed the airports, border, and all ports. I realized what “ports” meant early this morning when Nelio, our Haitian director, called and said our Feed My Starving Children meals will not be coming today. Customs is closed, the port is closed, and they have no idea when they may open again. This is a tragedy for the Haitian families, especially those who have children.

We can purchase rice which is their stable diet down near the port. This is what we did yesterday. Our funds… seems like the bottom has fallen out. Please give online or call the office and give what the Lord lays upon your heart. Our hearts are broken… this is an emergency. Most people in our office in Fort Myers are working from home, but we do have people answering the phone at the office.

Within the next 48 hours we will be distributing 800,000 meals to families. When Monday morning comes, we will be completely out of food. By faith, the Lord will supply more! We are in a crisis!

We love you!
