Madamn Odeline’s story is heartwarming… Living here in Haiti, we have come to have great respect for the poor Haitian mothers. Often, their husband will leave a mother with children because he has a girlfriend on the side. This leaves a poor, pregnant mother with extreme sadness and with no hope.

But Madamn Odeline had faith in the Lord! Even though she lives in a house with her two sons and “another family,” she does her best to provide for her children. She sells “drinks” on the street to make a living. She found that our “Birthing Center” was a place where she could get “spiritual healing,” as well as a good doctor. She could not believe that our Birthing Center would not make her pay; instead, she found hope, love, and spiritual strength in the Lord!

We want to thank the Lord and you, our partners, who make “miracles happen every day” for the poor here in Haiti!
