On the last day of the Mobile Medical Clinic in Savaan Pit, the lines were out of the church and down the mountain! Everyone had come to get medical help, and as usual, some of the “worst cases” arrived here last. We sent three cases of “kwashiorkor malnutrition” to our Jesus Healing Center, as well as several other cases. It was worth the long, rough drive over the mountain roads and the many truckloads of supplies that we had to transport up there for four hours over wicked roads. It was worth “getting up before the sun” and working until we felt like we could drop, and it was worth any small sacrifice we could make. Thank you, partners, for all your prayers!!!
First day:
812 patients
3,742 medications given
83 received eyeglasses
20 treated in wound care
35 decisions to accept Jesus as Savior
Second Day:
987 patients
4,821 medications given
110 received eyeglasses
37 treated in wound care
30 decisions to accept Jesus as Savior
We do not have the last day’s counts, because we did not have enough trucks to pack all the supplies yesterday. We had to send three trucks back this morning, and they will return with the information for the last day. Bobby and Sherry
