Just look at these wonderful pictures of our midwives learning how to use the sonogram that was donated by Probo Medical. We are so thankful to Joyce Meyer Ministries — Hand of Hope for helping us find someone to donate the ultrasound. They were instrumental in helping to make this all happen.

These “moms-to-be” come to our Jesus Healing Center each month for prenatal care. Since we have “outgrown” the Jesus Healing Center, we are sending many of the mothers to our Malnutrition Clinic to be checked there, and the sonogram is used in both buildings. The sonogram is saving lives!

These five midwives are called Fanm Saj. They must complete a two or three-year course on midwifing to get their diploma, and they “know what they are doing!” They are working at both the Jesus Healing Center, and the Malnutrition Clinic to serve all the moms, but they will be transferred to the Birthing Center when it opens.

We are so humbled at the “goodness of God.” After all, it is the “goodness of God, that leads men to repentance.” When people see and feel the healing hands of the Lord through our wonderful staff, their hearts are touched, and many come to know the Lord! Sherry
