This is Moses. He is one of our favorite children here at our orphanage. He is also one of the “hardest working” children and he is always looking for work and is willing to help. He always has a big smile. His mother gave birth and dropped him down a Haitian outhouse because she was unable to take care of him. Someone heard him crying and went “down into the outhouse” and brought him up. He was nearly dead. Moses was brought to us and he has been a joy. Yesterday, Daniel, our main interpreter, was at our depot with Moses and some of the other boys. Moses said to Daniel, “Give me your hands, I want to pray for you and ask God to bless you because you have blessed so many blans (foreigners).” What a special child! We love you, Moses!
