The sweet little guy with the green hat is Mr. Vela. He has much to be thankful for… not only does he have a great job in our Agricultural Training Center, but his wife, Madamn Vela, is one of our cooks at our big staff kitchen called “Big Mama.”

When we first met, Madamn Vela and her husband and two young girls were in the “garbage dump” at Truttier! They were getting ready to eat “rotten meat” for supper! They were in horrible condition, and always hungry! Now, they have a beautiful home thanks to our Love A Child partners, and both have good jobs and hope! And yes, they are going to church and serving the Lord! God is good “all the time!” He uses people “like you” to make a difference in the lives of the poor.
