Psalms 43:16 promises that God will make a way where there seems to be no way! In the midst of the worst famine and starvation for the Haitian people, despite the gangs blocking all the roads for food and supplies, God has made a way one more time! We have a miracle!

After ordering rice, beans, and oil the depots were empty, a barge of food was delivered to Love A Child through the port of Miragoane on Saturday. All day Sunday our faithful brother Hubert and the Love A Child team delivered food to over 150 families in the remote area of Maricil! Through your prayers and giving, God has made a way where there seems to be no way one more time!

Hubert (who is in the middle of the two women) is the hardest working Haitian I know! He works day and night. He has a great passion for the poor. Through Love A Child he passed out cooking oil the first day, now rice, and then he will pass out our beans. He took the 50 pound bag of rice and put it into smaller bags so more people could receive the rice. We sent all the food by a big barge.

Every day probably for the next three weeks, Hubert and our Love A Child team will be giving out food in many different villages. Sherry and I wanted to be there but can’t due to the gangs blocking the roads, so we can’t travel there, and there is no fuel for a helicopter, all the fuel is blocked because of the gangs.

Our Gabion houses are being built every day in South Haiti! This means jobs… jobs!!! Thank you for helping make all of this possible. Your finances and prayers made this happen. Thank you for your help. We are needing more help now than we have in our history of being here in Haiti. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
