Jolina is one of several children who were born in one of the worst areas we have ever worked in… Savaan Roche. (It means grassland of rocks.) It is one of the roughest, toughest areas we have ever worked in. We were told that Jolina’s father was killed and her mother “lost her mind” after Jolina was born. The baby was taken to her aunt, who already had nine children!

Jolina is a “strong girl” and hard-working! She is 14 now and in 10th grade. She likes to have everything “clean!” She doesn’t mind doing “the worst of jobs!” Her dream is to be a “Pediatrician!” She loves to cook and is “not afraid of anything!” (Whoever marries her is gonna have his hands full! Ha!)

We love Jolina! There is not another like her!
