This pretty pre-teen lost her mother when she was still on the bottle. Her father had to borrow the money for her mother’s funeral. When he couldn’t pay him back, the man took his children for ransom, making them work! Their father became very depressed! Our Haitian “Head of Love A Child” heard about this and paid the ransom. By this time, Rodna was very malnourished, so we took her in! Rodna is doing well now. She is 12 and wants to be a professional cook! She loves to run, loves dolls and jumping rope, and is in 7th grade! We all love her!
