Our Stanley…

When we first saw Stanley, he was just as shy as he is now! He had been raised in an orphanage after his mother and father died. A relative was very worried about Stanley and asked if we would take him in, and of course we did. Stanley was from another area of Haiti called “Cape Haitien,” so his Creole was a little different than ours. But in no time at all, he was “part of the family!” He was skinny and frail but in no time, he caught up… fast!

Stanley loves dominoes, soccer, and just “being with his family!” He wants to be an engineer and he is in his third year of college! Stanley may be big, but he is a “gentle giant,” and we all love him. Thank you, partners, for investing in another life that will change Haiti, for the good!
