Stephano has been in bed sick with a very high fever for over a week. Because of the swelling of his jaws and his high fever, the doctor thought he had the mumps. I was afraid he had drunk some bad water. He is so sick, with swollen glands and burning up with a fever. He has been like this for three weeks. The Haitian ladies are making him some special soup!!

Stephano came to us after the police had put his mother in prison… he was just a toddler. His father had abandoned him when Stephano was born, so we took him in. Stephano always has had a “winning smile!” That’s why Stephano does well in school. He is still thinking about what he wants to be. Please remember him in your prayers. That the fever will go away, in “Jesus’ Name!”
