This sweet girl is named Jesula. Her father was a witch doctor. Her mother was given to the witch doctor (her father); by another man as payment of money he owed the witch doctor. The witch doctor accepted Jesus at one of our Mobile Medical Clinics. He burned all of his “Voodoo stuff,” and then his madamn also accepted Jesus. They were married and had “Jesula.” However, out of fear that the baby would die, her mother did not want to raise her and brought her to us at Love A Child. Little Jesula is one of our “sweeties.” Sherry
Need Medical Personnel: 10-22-2015 12:00 PM
On November 14-21, Love A Child will be conducting a Mobile Medical Clinic in the mountains of Savaan Pit, Haiti. We still need several medical professionals to help with this clinic. If you are not a medical professional and want to “jump right in” with this team, please contact Shar at 239-210-6107. We are going “to the regions beyond!” Sherry
Kristela: 10-22-2015 8:00 AM
You might remember Kristela’s story. Her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother were all deeply involved with Voodoo. When her mother was pregnant with Kristela, she came to our Mobile Medical Clinic in Savaan Pit as she was dying. We could do little for her medically, but we prayed and she accepted Jesus. Eight days later, her mother died after giving birth to Kristela. Her father brought Kristela down to our orphanage and left her with us. She is a real “tomboy,” but she’s “ours!” (Smile.) Sherry
Word from the Mission Field – 10-22-15
“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you…” Philippians 1:3 – As we serve God and the people here in Haiti, not a day goes by that we don’t remember and give thanks to God for the many dedicated partners that we have that make it possible for us to do the work God has called us to do. We love you so much! Bobby and Sherry

We are so thankful for a $500 donation that came in this afternoon for Shalken’s medical trip to the States! Praise God! Shalken has to go to Findlay, Ohio to see a special dermatologist. Word from the Mission Field – 10-21-15
“Be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 – Keep pressing on! Everything that you do for the Lord is for a reason. Never give up! God bless you! Bobby
Update on Lionel – 10-20-15
Lionel is one of the children at our Love A Child Children’s Home. He is pictured here with Barbara, our Medical Administrator of the Jesus Healing Center. Lionel was brought to us about two years ago by the Department of Social Services after his father had gotten mad at him and held his hand in boiling water! Lionel has had several surgeries already, but two of his fingers were still growing together. Barbara took him for another operation, and we are hopeful that this surgery will be his last one. Barbara does a wonderful job taking care of many patients who need “extra care.” Lionel has a loving home at our place in Haiti. Thank you Barbara for taking such great care of him! Bobby and Sherry
