Word from the Mission Field – 09-04-15
“Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.” Philippians 2:2 – Let us remember to stay like-minded in the mission God has given us. Let’s continue to show the love of God to the poor and starving people of Haiti. Love is something “WE” do! Sherry

We need your help: 9-3-2015 4:45 PM
We need your help! You may be involved with a church group, rotary club or another organization that wants to make a difference in the lives of others. We need groups of volunteers to make Birthing Kits for our Malnutrition Clinic. Please read Sherry’s Journal today to learn more about our Malnutrition Clinic, and how you can help provide Birthing Kits for poor mothers living in mud huts here in Haiti. You will be amazed at how these Birthing Kits help save lives. God bless you, Sherry
Our daughter is coming to Haiti: 9-3-2015 12:00 PM

Word from the Mission Field – 09-03-15
God gave us two very important commands. First, “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” Matthew 22:37 and 39 – One way we can demonstrate our love for God is to love our neighbors. And our neighbors are those who we see that need our help. Reach out and help someone in need today. Let your love shine! Bobby
Jean Edwouard – 09-02-15
This is Jean Edwouard. He has been at our Love A Child Orphanage for many years. His parents died, and he was living in Le Tant with some relatives. Jean Edwouard was their Restavec (slave child). He did lots of chores like fetch water, cook, care for younger children and much more. He wasn’t able to play or go to school. All he did was work. He was such a sad boy when we discovered him. We knew that he could not stay in Le Tant with his “relatives.” We were able to bring Jean Edwouard to our orphanage and he has been going to school since he arrived years ago. He loves reading, writing, singing and playing soccer. Thank you partners for helping change another life! God bless you, Bobby and Sherry
Food is the bridge: 9-2-2015 4:00 PM
This is just one of our precious Haitian friends who has a job in the Gwo Maché Mirak. We still continue to feed the children and families here in Haiti, because, as the Creole Proverb says, “An empty sack cannot stand.” (When you are hungry, you cannot stand or work.) Food is our “bridge” to reach out to the hungry people to help them get jobs and support sustainability. Bobby & Sherry
Bridges out to some villages: 9-2-2015 2:00 PM
Since the storm has passed by Haiti, our staff has been trying to distribute food to several villages. One bridge was knocked out and we were unable to continue our food distribution in that area. We will continue to distribute food to the villages that we can reach this week. We are praying that we can get the food to all the other villages that need it so desperately. The Creole Proverb says, “Beyond the mountains are more mountains.” It means, “Beyond the problems are more problems.” Sherry

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7 – Are you experiencing some sort of fear in your life today? Well you can rest assured that it’s not from God. Because God has given you “power,” “love,” and a “sound mind.” So, be fearless today! —Bobby
