Visitors in Haiti – 11-10-14

We welcome Jesse Ostrander and Frank who came in today to work on the Grand Miracle Market. Frank is an excellent bulldozer operator and we have lots for him to do. We also welcome Don and Cathy who are here to train us on beekeeping. Cathy is a bee expert. David George also came in today. He is sponsoring a new orphanage, and he is here to keep that project moving forward. Mark Ostrander will come in tomorrow to help with the Marketplace. We are over budget because of the extra things we have built into the Grand Miracle Market. The Lord supplied $30,000 last week that we are using on the Marketplace. If we can raise an additional $30,000 this week, we will be at the finish line! Please pray about helping finish the Grand Miracle Market! Please help us reach the finish line by giving online now. The Marketplace vendors start moving in on November 18th and the grand dedication service is going to be on December 9th. Bobby

A very Sensitive Subject: 11-7-2014 9:30 AM

A very sensitive subject from Sherry…

Many partners and friends have asked us, “Why do the Haitian people have so many children,” and “do you teach birth control?” These are two very good questions. The answer to the first question, and I hope I don’t hurt anyone’s feelings, is that Haiti is a predominately Catholic country. They mostly believe that God is in control of how many children they have. Read more…
