Philip had just won a eunuch to the Lord and baptized him. “And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip was found at Azotus…” Acts 8:39-40 – There are Bible scholars that say he was transported by the Spirit 34 miles away to preach the Gospel. Bobby

We also send food to the Dominican Republic. Once there, Carlos works with the local pastors to give food to the many poor Dominicans and Haitians working in sugar cane camps. Just look at these happy faces! Thank you to our partners! Sleep well tonight, you have fed the poor! Sherry

This is Colin. Ordinarily, you would not be amazed at a little boy with a plate full of food, but this little boy has a story. When he lived with his father, stepmother and nine children, he tried to eat the “last handful” of food left in a pot. His father grabbed his hand and held it in a hot charcoal fire until the flesh fell off. Now, he lives in our Love A Child Orphanage and eats a big plate of food each day! Sherry

We welcome Robert and Durkje de Vries back to Haiti today. They both were undergoing medical tests all week, they were especially testing Durkje’s heart. All the test results were good! This evening Open Hand Ministry, Inc. will be giving out the certificates for 20 hours of vendor business class to sell in the Grand Miracle Market.  Everyone was so proud!

Bobby ministered at the Haitian Pastor’s Seminar held at Miracle Village this morning. There were hundreds of Haitian Pastors in attendance. Bobby ministered on Hebrews 11 – “We walk by faith and not by sight!”

When you attend our Missionary Training Center, which begins in June of 2015, you will learn how to conduct a successful Pastors Seminar in a third world country. A special thanks to Missionary Chris Baker, who started the Pastors Bible College and to Pastor Narcisse, for all his help in organizing this special meeting today! God bless you, Sherry

This morning we’ll have over 400 pastors in our Miracle Village Church (Life Changers International) where Chris and Cassandra Baker are doing a great job teaching the Seminar for Love A Child Pastors. I will be speaking at 9:00 AM to all the pastors who are attending the seminar. Lisa, Alisha, Nancy and Debbie will be arriving today. This evening we will hold the graduation for the Grand Miracle Market vendors who have been in training all week with Open Hand, Inc. Frank and Nick are doing a great job teaching them business practices. Monday starts the Haitian Women’s Conference being held by Open Hand, Inc. Love is something you do! Bobby

This is Dimelia. She has been with us since she was about four-years-old. She was severely burned when she was young and could not move her neck or lift her arms. Dimelia is a gorgeous young girl who has undergone several tissue release surgeries. She is doing much better and will be coming “home” to us here in Haiti on November 16th! God bless you, Sherry

Jean Edwouard, one of the children here at our Love A Child Orphanage, broke his leg today while he was playing soccer. After he got to the hospital here in Haiti, they discovered his break is closer to his knee and he will need surgery. He would like to have your prayers for his recovery. About seven years ago, we rescued Jean Edwouard from life as a restavec (slave child). Sherry

We were expecting 30 Haitian pastors to attend our Seminar for Love A Child Pastors. Then 100 showed up! Five minutes ago about 50 more people showed up! We have to provide food and sleeping accommodations for all of them, so we just keep adding food to the pot! That’s Haiti! Sherry
