Medical Caregivers are needed for a last-minute Mobile Medical Clinic Mission Trip Oct 11-18, 2014 in the Haitian mountain village of Savaan Roche. This team will provide the ONLY medical care the people in this poor, remote village receive. It’s a week that will change your life. We are so overwhelmed with the response for Missouka’s prosthesis needs that it has brought tears to our eyes. How could God ever love us this much and give us friends like these…is beyond us. We want to thank Mark Haines of Max Care. He will be coming to Haiti in February or March with a team that may be able to help. Our friend Beth Nolan is also trying to find help in the U.S. for Missouka.  We also received some good advice to try the prosthetics lab at Hospital Bernard Mevs and Mission of Hope. First, we think we will try Mission of Hope because we have worked closely with them for years, but we didn’t know they offered prosthetic services. Today is just another day of raising kids. Poppie is giving them a ride home from school and of course there is always homework. We never have a dull moment living here with all these kids at our Love A Child Orphanage! Sherry

They are using some empty water jugs to beat as drums, and they are making a joyful noise anyways. We are in desperate need of musical instruments and PA systems for our churches. We could use guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, drums, and amplifiers. We can get some small generators and they can make a LOUD NOISE UNTO THE LORD IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! “That’s what we do…” This is Missouka. She is a patient at our Jesus Healing Center. Today, she had to be sent for x-rays on her hip area. As you can see, her left leg is much shorter than her right leg. Her knees are 3-4 inches out of alignment with each other. Her foot is deformed but functional. The doctor is hoping to find someone to fit her with a prosthesis and hopefully, her leg may grow. If not, she may need to have it amputated. She will need to have several prostheses in her young years. If anyone sees this and knows of a medical team coming to Haiti where this could be done, that would be great. Perhaps, with the help of donations, we could get her to the States to be fitted and that would be great too. Whatever the Lord does, we are Love A Child and this is what we do. We love each child. David George preached a great message at Pastor Narcisse’s church today. Many Haitians came to the Lord.  Robert and Durkje de Vries and I were blessed as David George ministered the Word. I will be preaching at Pastor Narcisse’s church next week at 8 AM. The sermon will be “Don’t let the Devil cut your hair!” Bobby

Jesus said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15 – Today, David George will be ministering the Word of God at our home church, Delmas 101, Pastor Narcisse’s church. In Haiti, Haitians usually refer to churches by the name of the pastor or the address. God bless David for his vision and burden for the poor of Haiti! Bobby and Sherry

Today was the first day of the Haitian Bible College for pastors in this area. This is a brand new outreach from Love A Child. Chris and Cassandra Baker are the Directors, and we are so excited about this program. Haitian pastors need to be trained in the Word of God. God bless our missionaries! Bobby and Sherry
