These adorable children at our Love A Child School in Greffin, Haiti were using our partially demolished church as their classrooms. We thank the Lord because soon we will have a beautiful new school, and a brand new church right here high in the mountains of Haiti. The poor Haitians living in this area are so excited because they will have a new school for their children and a new church for all of the families! This is truly the “regions beyond.” Sherry

We want to say thank you to our partners for sharing their love with so many hungry children here in Haiti. When I was a little girl, my father was out of work for a year. If it weren’t for our kind neighbors we would have all gone hungry. These children are your neighbors. (Luke 10:36) We are sharing our food with Pastor Kesnel, who is feeding these hungry children. This sweet little girl from Lastik is named Arismene. She and her poor family live high in the mountains of Haiti. Without a sponsor, she would never have been able to go to school, have a Christian education, a hot meal each day, medical care, and most of all love. She is so happy to have a sponsor! Dimilia, one of our darlings from our Love A Child Orphanage, is getting ready to fly to Maine with Sandra, our Executive Director, and Rad, our Assistant Executive Director. They are getting ready to board the airplane now. Sandra and Rad will take Dimilia to Maine to meet her host mother Lori and her family. Lori will be caring for Dimilia during her evaluation and skin graft surgery for burns that she suffered when she was very small. When her father brought her to us she could not raise her arms or turn her head because of the severe scars. She has had two surgeries thus far and is doing great! We will keep you posted! Tomorrow, Dimilia will fly to Maine with Rad and Sandra, our Love A Child Executive Directors. She will be evaluated for her third skin graft surgery. Dimilia was badly burned as a child and has had two operations for the release of her neck and arm areas. She needs another surgery, and hopefully, she will have it this summer. Special thanks goes to our partners who sponsored flights to Maine for Dimilia and her escorts, Rad and Sandra. Lori is Dimilia’s host mother, and does a wonderful job caring for her.
