This is Stephanie, one of the teenagers from our Love A Child Orphanage.  She works in the depot packing “Hope Seeds” (garden seeds) to share with the poor.  This lady received “Hope Seeds” that she planted to grow fruit trees and other crops for eating and selling.  We call this “Food For Life!”  Thank you Hope Seeds for helping the poor here in Haiti.  Blessings, Bobby and Sherry

Our Love A Child Missionary Robert, who recently had back surgery, is being released from the Baptist Hospital of Miami today.  He will remain in Miami until the 29th, when he has his two-week check up.  He will then go back to Haiti.  Thank you for all your prayers! Sherry

Sherry and I talked with Robert just a little while ago.  He is having some pain and is still being medicated, but he is doing better.  The medical professionals had him up walking a little today.  Robert and Durkje want to thank everyone for their prayers this week.  A special thanks goes to the Baptist Hospital of Miami for all of their kindness.  Bobby and Sherry

The “ox is in the ditch…” Some villagers make their living by fishing in the lake near Love A Child Village. However, the fish there are so tiny and provide very little food. During the windy months like this one, they cannot fish at all and their hunger is worse than ever. That is why we do emergency food distributions like this to help feed those in need. Danielle is one of our younger missionaries and she was there yesterday to make sure these two villages received “extra food.”  That’s what we do! Sherry

This adorable little child can sleep tonight because food has arrived.  Love A Child shared this food with another orphanage.  God bless our Feed My Starving Children partners who donated this food to us, and God bless our Love A Child partners who sponsored the food to come from the States to Haiti.  This child lives in one of the worst areas of Haiti called Cite Soleil.  Great work to our friends at “Good Samaritan Orphanage!”  Now, let’s deliver more food to hungry children!  Sherry
