“Who then, is my neighbor?”—That’s what the rich young ruler asked Jesus after He had told him, “…and thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” Could this poor family be your “neighbor?” We know that Jesus was not talking about “how close someone lives to you,” but He was talking about those that God gives you a burden for—the poor anywhere.
